BMC processing

Nowadays technically demanding components are produced from BMC wet polyesters in addition to the classical processing of free-flowing granular phenolic resin materials.

• In the automotive industry complex components in the engine compartment such as the throttle body belong to innovative new products in this field. Detente gates made of materials with modified sliding properties are used in transmissions. 
• Housings for the installation of electric motors and the associated air channel systems have proved their worth in the electrical industry for many years now.

A material characteristic that comes very close to that of aluminium allows the substitution of BMC for more expensive materials. Since no further mechanical processing or machining is required as a rule, this means that there are considerable price advantages.

High mechanical strength, extremely high thermal resistance, high electrical insulation values and shrinkage values of around zero make BMC an ideal construction material.
